We are delighted to announce three exciting new award categories for the 2024 Hales Care Awards. These additions further expand the scope of recognition, ensuring that every area of the exceptional care and dedication shown by Hales staff is celebrated and rewarded.

Nicola Mewse, Group Managing Director, commented, “The annual Hales Care Awards reflect our commitment to recognising and rewarding the tireless efforts and outstanding contributions of our incredible team. With the introduction of these new award categories, we are able to celebrate even more of the remarkable work our staff do every day to improve the lives of our service users.”

New Award Categories for 2024

Best Support Act Award
This award celebrates an individual or team in a support role who has gone above and beyond to enable the success of others within the company. Whether working as an Administrator, Recruiter, Trainer, or in any other supporting capacity, the recipient will have made a significant positive impact through their dedication, efficiency, and commitment to excellence.
The Best Support Act Award shines a spotlight on the unsung heroes behind the scenes who enable Hales Home Care to thrive. Their dedication and hard work ensure others can deliver their best, making them an indispensable part of our services.

Rising Star Award
This award highlights an emerging talent within the Hales Care team. It recognises individuals who, despite being relatively new to the sector or organisation, have displayed exceptional promise, dedication, and potential for future growth. The award is open to all team members regardless of job role.

Top Team Award
This award recognises a team that has excelled in delivering exceptional performance, driving growth & innovation in their service, maintaining high-quality standards, and making a significant contribution to their region or the wider organisation. The team will have worked collaboratively to achieve outstanding results, demonstrating the power of teamwork in enhancing outcomes and making a difference in care delivery.

These new awards join the existing categories that showcase Hales Group’s vision and values to uphold the highest standards of care: Deliver a Personal Approach Award, Maintain Professional Excellence Award, Empower Trust Award, Champion Change Award, and Exceptional Performance Award.

Nominations for all categories are now open, with winners set to receive a prestigious trophy, certificate, and cash prizes totalling £2000.

Nicola added, “We encourage everyone – colleagues, managers, service users, and their families – to nominate individuals and teams who exemplify our values and make a real difference in the lives of others.”
